What to Expect at Anasa

What to Expect at Anasa

A simple guide to what is included, what to bring, and how to picture your stay beneath the pines.

Think of It as a Tented Hotel Room

Anasa is much more like a thoughtfully prepared tented hotel room than a traditional campsite. You do not need to bring a tent, sleeping bags, air mattresses, towels, or the usual camping gear. Your space is set up before you arrive so you can settle in quickly and enjoy the outdoors with the comfort of a real bed, private bathroom, climate control, and simple conveniences.

Most guests bring clothes, food and beverages, personal toiletries, and anything they want for exploring the area. We take care of the main comforts so your stay feels easy from the moment you arrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the bathroom inside the tent?

Yes. Each tent has its own private bathroom directly inside the tent, with a shower, toilet, and vanity. You do not have to walk to a separate bathhouse or shared restroom building.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes. Every tent has air conditioning. Air conditioning is non-negotiable in Florida, and we want guests to be able to enjoy the outdoors while still having a cool, comfortable place to return to.

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes. Your stay includes bed linens, pillows, bedding, bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths.

Are dishes and utensils provided?

Yes. Each tent includes basic dishes, glassware, coffee mugs, and utensils for simple meals, snacks, coffee, and takeout. The tents do not include a full kitchen, stove, or cookware.

What happens during heavy rain?

The tents are designed for outdoor hospitality and handle rain well. Many guests love the sound of rain on canvas while staying dry and comfortable inside. During stronger storms, guests can settle in much like they would in a cabin.

How far apart are the tents?

The tents are spaced to provide a sense of privacy while still being close enough to enjoy the shared areas of the property. You will have your own outdoor space and a comfortable distance from neighboring tents.

Is Anasa on the same property as an event venue?

Yes. Anasa is located on the same property as Little Red Wagon Farms, a wedding and event venue. The tents are tucked into their own area beneath the pines and are intentionally set apart from the event space so the accommodations feel like their own separate experience.

Will there be events during my stay?

Events vary by date. If you are concerned about a specific stay, please ask before booking and we will let you know what is currently scheduled during your dates.

Is firewood provided?

Firewood is available for purchase during your stay.

To help protect our trees and forests from invasive pests and diseases, we do not allow outside firewood to be brought onto the property. Instead, we offer locally sourced firewood that is ready to enjoy in your private fire pit.

Many weekends also feature a communal evening campfire, where guests can gather beneath the pines, share stories, roast marshmallows, and enjoy one of our favorite Anasa traditions.

Is charcoal provided?

Charcoal grills are available in the common area for guests who would like to cook during their stay.

Charcoal is available for purchase in our camp store, along with a small selection of other camping essentials and convenience items. Guests are also welcome to bring their own charcoal if they prefer.

Are grilling utensils provided?

Basic grilling utensils, including tongs and a spatula, are available upon request for guests using the charcoal grills in the common area.

Charcoal is available for purchase in our camp store, and guests are welcome to bring their own if they prefer.

Food, Groceries, and Restaurants

Anasa is designed for simple meals and easy snacks rather than full in-tent cooking. Each tent includes a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and basic dishes and utensils. Most guests bring simple breakfast items, snacks, drinks, and anything they want to enjoy around the fire.

Live Oak is about 15 minutes away and offers grocery options including Publix, Walmart, Winn-Dixie, and smaller local stores. Dining options are also primarily in Live Oak, with local favorites such as The Brown Lantern, Downtown Cafe, Big Wood BBQ, Dixie Grill, and The 406.

What People Do Here

Anasa is intentionally simple. It is not a resort packed with scheduled activities every hour. It is a place to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy North Florida from a comfortable home base.

Guests often spend their days exploring nearby springs, hiking trails, kayaking, antiquing, visiting state parks, or enjoying a slower day on property. Evenings are for campfires, stargazing, conversation, and the quiet of the pines.

Still Have Questions?

We know glamping can be hard to picture if you have never stayed in a luxury tent before. If you are unsure about what to bring, how the tents are arranged, or what your stay will feel like, please reach out. We are happy to help you decide whether Anasa is the right fit for your trip.
