Welcome to Anasa. We want this to be a place where you can slow down, spend time outside, and enjoy the people you’re here with.
Because Anasa is a shared outdoor property, a few simple rules help keep everyone safe and make the experience enjoyable for our guests and neighbors.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
During quiet hours, please keep conversations, music, and other noise low enough that they cannot reasonably be heard or disturb guests in neighboring accommodations or nearby residents.
Please be especially mindful when gathering outdoors at night.
Fires & Fire Safety
Fires are permitted only in designated fire pits, grills, wood-burning stoves, and other approved fire features.
Never leave an active fire unattended.
Please observe any burn bans or temporary fire restrictions. Anasa may prohibit or extinguish fires when weather or property conditions make them unsafe.
Do not create fires anywhere other than designated locations.
Only appropriate firewood or approved fuel may be burned. Do not burn trash, plastics, food packaging, or other materials.
Smoking & Open Flames
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any Anasa tent.
Candles, incense, personal cooking appliances, and other unauthorized open flames or heating devices are also prohibited inside the tents.
Please use designated outdoor areas for smoking and dispose of smoking materials safely.
Wood-Burning Stoves & Heating
Where a wood-burning stove is provided, use it only according to Anasa’s instructions.
Do not modify, move, obstruct, or place objects on or immediately around a stove or heater.
Never disable or interfere with smoke detectors, carbon-monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, or other safety equipment.
Do not allow children or pets near hot stoves without close supervision.
Children
Children are welcome at Anasa, but please remember that this is a natural outdoor environment rather than a childproof property.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children, particularly around fires, stoves, trails, roads, vehicles, cooking areas, wildlife, and other outdoor hazards.
Young children should not wander the property without appropriate adult supervision.
Pets
Dogs are welcome at Anasa, with a maximum of two dogs per accommodation unless approved in advance.
Please keep your dog under reasonable control and do not allow your dog to disturb other guests, approach another guest or pet without permission, or wander unattended.
Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste appropriately.
Pets may not be left unattended if doing so could result in excessive barking, damage, distress, or unsafe conditions.
You are responsible for damage, excessive cleaning, or injury caused by a pet under your care.
Remember that Anasa is a rural property. Wildlife, snakes, insects, vegetation, weather, and other outdoor conditions can present risks to pets as well as people.
Service animals are accommodated in accordance with applicable law.
Shared Spaces
The Commons, The Grove, The Hearth, The Lawn, trails, and other designated common areas are intended to be enjoyed by Anasa guests.
Please leave shared spaces ready for the next person and be considerate when others are using them.
Personal belongings should not be used to reserve a shared space for extended periods unless an area has specifically been reserved for your group.
Please supervise children and pets in common areas.
Property Boundaries
Anasa operates on a portion of a larger privately owned property. Your stay does not provide access to the entire property.
Please remain within designated Anasa accommodations, trails, gathering areas, parking areas, and other spaces identified for guest use.
Do not enter areas marked private, restricted, closed, agricultural, operational, or otherwise not open to Anasa guests.
Please respect neighboring property and never cross fences, gates, or property boundaries unless the area is specifically designated for guest access.
Wildlife & Nature
Seeing wildlife is part of spending time in rural North Florida. Please observe wildlife from a safe distance.
Do not intentionally approach, handle, capture, feed, or disturb wildlife.
Do not leave food or trash outdoors where it may attract animals.
Please watch where you step when walking outdoors, particularly after dark.
Trails & Walking After Dark
Anasa’s grounds are natural and may include roots, holes, uneven ground, leaves, mud, and other changing conditions.
Use designated paths whenever practical.
Please carry a flashlight or other light when walking around the property after dark.
Closed trails or areas should not be entered.
Weather
North Florida weather can change quickly.
Please pay attention to weather conditions and follow any instructions from Anasa regarding thunderstorms, lightning, high winds, severe weather, fires, or other conditions.
Anasa may temporarily close outdoor areas or activities when conditions make them unsafe.
If Anasa provides emergency or evacuation instructions, please follow them promptly.
Cooking & Outdoor Kitchen Areas
Use grills, outdoor cooking equipment, and kitchen facilities only as intended.
Never leave active cooking equipment unattended.
Clean shared cooking areas after use and properly store or dispose of food and waste.
Children should be closely supervised around grills, knives, hot surfaces, and cooking equipment.
Please be considerate of guests with food allergies when using shared preparation areas, but understand that Anasa cannot guarantee an allergen-free shared cooking environment.
Alcohol
Guests of legal drinking age may responsibly consume their own alcoholic beverages unless otherwise restricted.
Please do not tend fires, operate equipment, participate in activities, or behave in a manner that creates a risk to yourself or others while impaired.
Disruptive or unsafe behavior resulting from alcohol or other substances is not permitted.
Parking & Vehicles
Please park only in designated guest parking areas.
Unless specifically authorized, guest vehicles should remain in designated parking areas rather than being driven to tents, trails, lawns, or common spaces.
Drive slowly and carefully while on the property and watch for pedestrians, children, pets, and wildlife.
Do not block roads, gates, emergency access, or operational areas.
Guests & Visitors
Only registered overnight guests may stay overnight unless Anasa approves otherwise.
Visitors who are not included in your reservation must comply with Anasa’s Guest Rules and may be subject to advance approval, occupancy limitations, or applicable day-use requirements.
The reservation holder is responsible for making members of their party and invited visitors aware of these rules.
Accommodations & Property
Please treat your tent and the surrounding property as you would someone’s home.
Do not move large furnishings, alter the accommodation, attach items to canvas walls or structures, or tamper with electrical, plumbing, septic, well, HVAC, or other property systems.
Please notify us promptly if something is broken, damaged, malfunctioning, or appears unsafe. Do not continue using equipment that appears damaged or unsafe.
Accidents happen. We’d much rather know about a problem immediately so we can address it.
Personal Property
Please keep track of your personal belongings and secure valuables appropriately.
Anasa is not responsible for items left unattended or left behind after departure except as required by applicable law.
Respect for Others
Anasa is intended to be a welcoming place for guests to enjoy nature and time together.
Threatening behavior, harassment, fighting, intentional property damage, dangerous conduct, excessive noise, or behavior that substantially interferes with another guest’s experience is not permitted.
Guests who create an immediate safety concern or repeatedly disregard these rules may be required to leave the property, subject to applicable law.
Before You Leave
Please leave your accommodation and shared spaces in reasonably tidy condition.
Place trash in designated receptacles, return shared items to their appropriate locations, and make sure fires are fully extinguished unless Anasa has instructed otherwise.
There is no need to perform hotel housekeeping before you leave—we simply ask that you treat the space with reasonable care.
Questions or Problems?
If something doesn’t seem right during your stay, please tell us.
Whether it’s damaged equipment, a maintenance problem, a safety concern, or simply something you’re unsure about, we’d rather have the opportunity to help while you’re here.
Thank you for helping us take care of Anasa and for being considerate of the people sharing this place with you.
